Cats are already amazing creatures. Ferals are even more to me. They speak somewhat in a similar manner. I love the humans that respect them as well.

Connecting with Stormy and BDubs: Here’s what their human shared:

Stormy – it will be three weeks Wednesday since he has been inside.  I did catch a glimpse of him coming around the corner to the house last Wednesday (maybe checking in?) but he got spooked as the landscapers were doing aeration and seeding that afternoon and ran back down the block. – My sense is that he is using his time outside to decide whether he is ready to be inside.  I know watching Shadow and Scout get baths at the beginning of the month was traumatic (both Shadow and Scout had skin issues from fleas).  
– I want to let him know he is not getting a bath and that the back door is open most of the day for him to come home.
BDubs – the nickname I have given the little male community cat, Black & White kitty, who has been coming around for at least six months to eat.  He does not get along with any of my cats, and he has a bad looking wound on his face.  In the last few days he has come up to me and will let me pet him.  I really feel strongly that he needs some vet attention and I want to make sure he is okay getting his face healed (and he will likely be neutered as well).  My guess is that he is less than two years old and is ready for a home (which I would love to facilitate too!)

Connecting with Stormy :

Stormy said  Stormy appreciates the door being open. Stormy knows instinctively when the time is right  to return. No no no bathes. Stormy has a tongue and Stormy feels fine w that type of bathing. Stormy is intelligent and independent. This is Stormy nature. Stormy is not being reluctant to follow the rules just not into the rules. Stormy is outside stretching Stormy”s body and imagination. Stormy has pride, wonder, some self sufficiency and the need to enjoy freedom. Stormy is curious about everything and this is satisfied by wandering.

BDubs said yes please. BDubs is talking to you .And now that I hear BD will get attention and care needed. 

BDubs is alert yet gentle and very discriminating. The other members of the household have no interest to BD. BD could appreciate some comfort. BD realizes that BD cannot successfuly live with a paw in each world. BD has dreams of becoming a zen master. What a lucky home BD landed in.
