From Coconut and Muffin’s Mom :

Coconut may have some idea this is happening but not sure about Muffin. I’ve always wanted to take Licorice and Coconut on a trip and decided now is the time since Coconut is a little bit of an adventure cat in this second half of his life! I hope they know that I’m looking out for them and to trust me and don’t worry. They are safe! And Muffin will mostly be staying at the Airbnb but sometimes I will take her out in her harness (she’s been practicing) and in the tent that I will bring. Coconut will go on an adventure or two. We plan to take him to the picnic area of a winery with us and if there is an opportunity to kayak that might happen. I even have this idea that I can rent a bike with a buggy for him LOL.
Other than that, they will be hanging out and watching birds from the window together. Then on the sixth day we will go back home to the life they know so all is well. But let’s have a good time until then!
MuffinI know Muffin is a little scared when I take her for car rides to get her nails trimmed or the two times in her harness that I’ve taken her to visit friends across the street and in the courtyard. But I know she likes balcony time and all the creatures and sensations so hopefully she can open up to trusting me when I take her out. But I will respect her by not taking it too far. Her little cry is so pitiful. She will be with mom and big brother Coconut (and my neighbor friend Kelly that she know will be there a few days too) and she’s part of the crew!
P.S. I’m pretty sure she is the culprit that poops outside the box sometimes. I think she’s a bit pickier than Licorice and Coconut and wants the main box cleaned before I go to bed. Sometimes I forget so please just use the other box! AND drink water, Muffin!
CoconutI’m excited to go on this adventure with him!  I hope he trusts me and knows that I’ll mostly allow him to stay cozy with Muffin but he can explore some new territory and amaze some new people LOL. Don’t eat too much grass because I don’t want to clean up so much grass puke on vacation. And sometimes grass is treated so don’t do it!!! Be a good big brother to little sister Muffin. It will be less hot so it will be easier for him to enjoy outdoor time. Let’s have fun Coconut!!!

Muffin said Muffin likes how brave Coconut is. Muffin tries to open Muffin’s mind to the possibilities of being so fearless. Muffin likes just basking in the love and kindness of home. Muffin knows Mom will take a gentler road on this big adventure Mom is really the bravest Mom ever. Taking Muffin and Coconut on a car ride, camping, tents….. WOW what could go wrong……. Mom should take lots of photos to share with the world because it will be a believe it or not adventures with 2 cats.
