Back again — another session for both Emma & Saul. Emma is learning to poop outside and Saul is adjusting to grooming.

When we connected to Emma and conveyed Mom’s request :

Emma said Emma will try to do more outside like Mom and Dad wants. Emma has a mood where Emma feels safest inside doing what Emma does because of the calmness that surrounds Emma in Emma’s home.  Emma needs to create a routine – go out – do the potty – done and then play awhile. Saul is trying to encourage Emma to follow the pack and do what needs to be done when and where it is needed OUTSIDE.

Then we connected with Saul and reminded him gently about Mom’s request:

Saul said Saul knows that Saul reacts in a negative way to all the stimulation during this grooming thing. Very difficult for Saul. Maybe do this while Saul is sleeping. SOUNDLY so Saul doesnt have to react. Let’s try to develop a more peaceful delivery of this difficult task. Maybe Mom could take a lesson on “painless” grooming of for Mom’s favorite fur baby.  See Mom, Saul has lots of excellent ideas, just ask!

We certainly wish Emma and Saul well. They are both so intuitive at such young ages!
