Your name just flashed in my mind. What can you tell me about your Reiki for animals. I have a breeding pair of Siberian Forest Cats. My male was a year old on 30 December. On Wednesday evening I noticed some evidence of fleas and so Thursday morning I put Frontline on all three of my cats. Thursday evening at dinner time, I noticed that Yuri was sulking around on the floor near my cabinets. When I called him, he walked as if his rear legs were on ice, kind of slipping and not getting traction. I could not get him to walk to me after that, although he let me pick him up and he did not seem injured or sensitive anywhere on his backside or legs. Friday morning, when I woke up, instead of being in his usual “perch” he was inside a bag under the table. He ate some, but was not acting like himself. No other physical symptoms. I took him to the vet yesterday afternoon, where they gave him a bath with Dawn dish detergent. (the company said there was no way to get it off that they could recommend). He has been home but has pretty much stayed inside a crate with the door open most of the night. I see evidence that he probably used the cat box. This morning when I fed him he hardly ate, but his legs look bit sturdier, though not completely there. Is there something you might be able to do for him energetically. This is an old, old Russian breed. Yuri’s pedigree goes back to very old Russian lines. And the Siberian is closer to its feral relatives than most cats.
When we tuned into Yuri: He shared:
Yuri said Yuri is confused fy all the funny weird strange feelings making over Yuri’s body. This has made Yuri not able to control Yuri’s body. Yuri feels weak and scared because Yuri cannot move sometimes. Yuri does like the calm safe place Yuri is resting in. Yuri wants to release Yuri’s body from this tension and fear. Yuri is staying calm and finding peaceful rest all day. Yuri’s muscles need to be strong to carry Yuri around . Yuri knows how much Mom is doing to take care of Yuri. Yuri feels the love and is grateful for all the kindness Mom lathers Yuri in. Now Yuri has a guardian angel to protect and surround Yuri always. Calm, peaceful rest now for Yuri.
After the session:
Thank you very much he is doing much better! His back legs are now working fine. He is eating again, though not as much as he used to. Yesterday he finally came out of the crate where he has been ‘hiding” since this happened. Although I left the crate out for him if he wanted to return, he did not. When I got home yesterday, he was sleeping in his own bed… with the bedding. While this was going on, he did not want anything in his crate, on his skin or body. I even covered his crate to remove too much sensory input. He has been out and about (and underfoot again! J). I would say we are at 85%, a huge change from Saturday where he was still a little caddywampus.
Thank you so very much. I am glad that what I was doing was making him feel better. It is so difficult when they can’t talk. But, his behavior now shows me that we are well on the way to a total recovery.
Blessings to you for your wonderful work!
