Licorice and Coconut are our long time clients. Mom was on her way for a vacation and wanted us to check in with her cats while she was good. Her messages to them were:

Licorice: Please visit the visitors and eat the wet food.

Coconut: Sorry you can’t be in your outside tent for a while. All in good time!

As we connected with Licorice: he shared:

Licorice said Licorice misses Mom and when the strangers come in Licorice has zero interest to see hem because they are there in place of Mom not much incentive to come rushing out to greet and meet . Hanging with Coconut who fills Licorice in on what where and why of the necessary changes while Mom is off being distracted by the bright lights while Licorice is in the dark waiting for moms return. Licorice may have a little melodrama in Licorice’s thoughts but Licorice feels deeply about lots of things like being without MOMMY licorice has been eating sleeping and using the litter box so everyone chill . It’s all good here .

Then we connected to Coconut:

Coconut said Coconut has been in observation and of course performance mode Mom left Coconut trapped inside so Coconut invited the outside one this was not a flighty impulse but a need to connect to all the exciting spirit animals . The productions were Oscar worthy many nights days afternoons Coconut was ultimately meant for the stage . Sometimes things were a slow go . Coconut requested Licorice to join in with the merriment well that was a NO GO . Mom can you imagine Mr Personality Licorice on stage . Coconut does not want to complain because Coconut knows how to survive a bad situation that being Mom leaving us. Coconut loves you Mom and says XO
