Hi ladies! I’d like to schedule a followup session for Ghost. As is the case with feral cats, and particularly him, I haven’t seen Ghost for several weeks. Around the first of the year I have started Ghost on a new medication the vet gave us for his wound, but he left soon after. Maybe he didn’t like the pills I hid in his food. I would just like to send him healing for his injury and general well-being, and check in to see that he has found somewhere safe, warm and dry. Remind that I’m here if he needs me and that I love him whether he’s here or not.
Ghost said Ghost felt it was time to expand Ghost’s horizons even if it is only a few feet away. Ghost needs to enrich Ghost by hunting and pushing through Ghost’s surroundings whether real or imaginary. Ghost knows the kindness of so many humans and does feel grateful for this. Ghost feels happy and whole when wandering even if its only someone’s back yard. Ghost is out and does check in here and there when Ghost is able. Ghost never feels alone , angels are always surrounding Ghost and there are other animals who roam free
A few days later :
Guess who showed up this morning (Monday) after more than a month? Yea!!
Ghost was waiting at the back door this morning when we woke up. He is a little thinner but looks well overall. The wound/injury is still there, still large and raw with some scabs, but looks much better with evidence of new skin, new hair growth, and no abscess J
He ate two 5.5 oz cans of food, and another can about an hour later, and gave many kitty kisses and head butts. An hour after that he was still there, so I put out fresh kibble and fresh water but reluctantly had to leave for work (after a few more head butts).
Thank you so much for the session, and I’m glad he looked so well after being gone for so long. I had assumed that, considering his nature, we were the only people he trusted but maybe he has other places to go as well. I hope so.
