A few days of Koda not coming down stairs, not even for food! He would come down if someone was at the door but then would rather stay upstairs. Was it pain in his hips or knees? But then he came down once and jumped up on the couch.

When we connected with Koda, he made us laugh with his first 2 sentences:

Koda said Koda is aware why you both have come to visit. It’s beyond the obvious. Make your inquiries and Koda will try to solve these mysteries with you both. Koda was feeling very protective of the space and the energy upstairs. Koda knows Mom was doing through another rough patch and then it seemed to pass however Koda felt something lingered behind and wallowed here a bit too long. Whenever Koda hears someone downstairs or at the door Koda’s instincts are to protect Mom, family , home and everything over rides the source then Koda is focused on the moment. Koda is self determined to solve this also. Koda will relax and allow Mom to handle the madness because Mom does this so well. Koda will listen to Koda’s guardian angel and meditate more too. Koda is loved and well cared for. Koda will draw the energy from within and let go of this– whatever this is that is going on … because all is good.

We love how connected Koda is to his family. He was in protective mode, of the energy and space where his Mom was. Koda even understands the difference between instinct and what he was trying to focus on.
