Problems/Issues the vet says he has IBS, and he feels the gunk in his eyes is from getting upper respiratory issues, possibly feline herpes, he was born in hoarding situation, and rescued at 4 weeks of age, the rescue thinks the animal control gave him to high a dose of antibiotics for his size
