Hi Ming!
Happy Thanksgiving!
We went to the vet today – Emma has been hugging walls, afraid to cross open floor – better in light than dark, but fine with seeing distance – just so fearful even at home. I have to accompany her across the floor or down the hall. I thought she had cataracts.
Well…”Lenticular Sclerosis” – Turns out Emma needs glasses, except they don’t do that for dogs. Her eyes are otherwise fine, no cataracts, just good old fashioned presbyopia like every gets in middle age. The vet said she would need trifocals if she was human.
She needs some reassurance and to trust her memory – the floor hasn’t changed, and she’ll be fine. “Emma!” I said, “you need glasses like mommy has – they don’t make them in your size. I’m so sorry, you’ll have to squint and we’ll keep the lights up for you”.
We scheduled the appointment, however one early morning Emma decided to visit me and told me she needed the appointment sooner. Yes, Emma has been a client for years and she knows how to reach me! (In fact Mom said she might LOL) so we moved the appointment up!
As we connected to Emma, she shared:
Emma said Saul was trying to help Emma too but Saul knows that Emma is always able to adapt to Emma’s new set of circumstances. Emma worries that Emma won’t be able to achieve the simple tasks. Emma knows Mom is keeping everything in the same place to keep Emma safe. For Emma this is an adjustment and Emma will progress. The goal is to be part of Emma’s family and help everyone again. Emma will find freedom and this will bring empowerment back to Emma. Emma will relax into it and it will come.
We also re attuned her to the healing energy to give her a boost..
The next day we heard Emma was more cheerful! Excellent news!
