Reiki for Abby the Rescue Cat : After a lot of thought and consideration, I think the session needs to go to Abby. As you know, I adopted her from a shelter and I have had no major issues once we got past the initial adjustment period. I think she is settling in ok with us. She is such a sweet, affectionate cat, I do notice she sometimes gets nervous around my dad but she seems to be doing better. My dad suspects perhaps a male abused her in the past. She doesn’t run out of the room anymore but she still doesn’t really approach him. She even tolerates Sam pretty well, they rub noses on occasion but I think he confuses her because she really doesn’t seem to know what to make of him. LOL! She and Khole are not exactly best buddies but Khole seems to have made peace with her presence in the house. I just want to make sure Abby is happy with us and doing well. After loosing Kirbe, her presence really helped heal that empty space in my heart and I just want to be sure she is happy being with us

Abby said Abby is glad that Mom never underestimated Abby’s potential . Mom knew Abby is capable of great achievements in Abby’s own soft way. Abby does persist and surges ahead with every little task before Abby. Some days waking, eating and the little box are huge accomplishments and Abby is proud of the greatness of the day. Abby thinks about every little act before taking action because its Abby’s way to handle life. This makes it all so much easier. Abby does like having the guardian angel from Mom. More for Abby to feel safe.
