What can I do to eliminate this ongoing pain in my body?
I have had increasing pain and intensity of discomfort in my body over the last 6 months. I have tried a number of things to help heal this issue. I have been to the chiropractor, had acupuncture, visited a surgeon and received a cortisone injection….all with limited, short-lasting results. It has reached a point where the pain is almost all I think about. I wake up in pain. I go to bed in pain. I have numbness and weakness along with the pain. I feel as though my world revolves around this pain. I hate that! I have been to a psychic/reiki healer as well.
I am looking for ANY guidance here as I feel I am constantly seeking to eliminate this pain but not finding any viable solutions. And I am really sick of having my life revolve around this. What else is possible here that I have not yet considered? What is right about this that I’m not getting? Can I change it? How can I change it? What is required, right now, to eliminate this?

I can feel your frustration and pain in the lines of your email. This has become a serious challenge you are facing. Getting over this pain and illness is one of the biggest feats you will have to overcome in your life. It is big and intense. It is big and intense because you feel you are alone in this. But, remember, you are not.
The first thing that comes to mind is self-love. Always be kind to yourself even when your body is in pain. Whatever reason brought on this painful situation is where you must start to fix it. If it was an injury, an accident, a sudden illness stop beating yourself up for it, no more blame. Forgive yourself in that moment, forgive others in that moment. It is time to release whatever started this in the first place.
You can send love and healing to yourself, too. Yes, while I am a firm believer in Reiki and the power of its healing, you too have power within to send healing to yourself and your cells. But you cannot skip the first step of self-love and forgiveness.
Another thing that comes to mind is how you fuel and provide nutrition to your body. Ask your body what it would like you to provide it. What foods does your body crave that are non processed, that are natural and healing. You can Google healing foods for pain or try herbal teas for healing pain. Sometimes these illnesses occur because it is our bodies way of saying it needs a change of lifestyle and nutrition. If you already do practice healthy eating, maybe there is a supplement you could be missing. Maybe all you need is to eliminate stress.
Mediation comes to mind. Find some space where you could be alone for 15 to 30 minutes a day, and sit on the floor or a chair, light a candle or incense, and close your eyes and take deep breathes, maybe play some soothing meditative music. It can be painful at first, because when you sit in a position of meditation the mind tends to focus on what the nerves are telling it which will more than likely be “pain.” But steer your mind from it and focus on love and healing to your entire being, to all of your cells, to the planet. It can create some amazing changes in your life in a small space of time.
One last thing, that comes to me is connect with the pain by connecting with your body. Perhaps journaling when you feel pain and writing how it makes you feel and responding to it with love and not attack, you might feel some relief in releasing through journaling.
