We had 3 Reiki Sessions for 9 year old Rachel the Golden who was post surgery: With each session you can see that Rachel got stronger and stronger, by the 3rd session even she had a sense of humor.

 

TPLO, or tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy, is a surgery performed on dogs to stabilize the stifle joint after ruptures of the cranial cruciate ligament (analogous to the anterior cruciate ligament [ACL] in humans, and sometimes colloquially called the same).

In the vast majority of dogs, the cranial cruciate ligament (CrCL) ruptures as a result of long-term degeneration, whereby the fibres within the ligament weaken over time. We do not know the precise cause of this, but genetic factors are probably most important, with certain breeds being predisposed (including Labradors, Rottweilers, Boxers, West Highland White Terriers and Newfoundlands). Supporting evidence for a genetic cause was primarily obtained by assessment of family lines, coupled with the knowledge that many animals will rupture the CrCL in both knees,

 

Session 1:

Rachel said Rachel feels everyone’s presence . Rachel can tell that Rachel is being surrounded with love and protection from Rachel’s guardian angel. Rachel can visualize all of this. Rachel knows that Rachel is healing and all of this energy healing will help Rachel. Rachel has confidence in Mom and faith that Rachel aims high for wellness. Rachel feels with Mom and Rachel’s guardian angel that these are inspirational surrounding Rachel. Rachel feels very fortunate to be in such a wonderful home and knows the healing will come. Patience- says Rachel.

Mom said after her session:

4 days later:Before rachel had her bilateral tplo surgery 6 weeks ago tomorrow, her trick was as you brought her bowl of food to her, she would twirl on her bed, I would say twirl and she would, or just stir my finger in the air above her, would give me room to put her bowl down as she would twirl, tonight as I approached her bed with her food, she started twirling, I had to make her stop because it scared me so bad, but she twirl two complete circles…wow!

Session 2:
Rachel said Rachel feels less confused. Rachel moves around more and Rachel’s angel is always there to block interference. Unconditional love from Mom and now an angel – this is so powerful and helps with the healing. Yes Rachel knows healing comes from within. Rachel is using all the lessons from this healing to help Rachel get better. Lots of potential while healing to rest and learn how Rachel can help Rachel from within . Rachel does need to sleep now…

7 days later

Session 3:

Rachel said Rachel is feeling a little lazy with all the rest and relaxation. Rachel is doing while healing. This is a challenge for Rachel to pace the day and know Rachel is healing from the inside out. Rachel does like to check on the outside to see how everything is healing. Mom is never happy over this help from Rachel and Mom puts Rachel in a vice helmet to prevent Rachel from caring for her surgery site. Rachel has been learning on Rachel’s guardian angel during Rachel’s recovery. Rachel does feel strong, so more patience is needed. Please forward to Rachel.
