Speaking of Salem, it’s time to schedule another session to give some reiki and check in to see how he feels. He seems to be hanging in there pretty well so far. He definitely seems to be meditating quite often, and we share our reiki every morning. (his last session with us –)
Connecting to Salem, he’s shared such a wonderful message:
Salem said Salem is on the path of peaceful calm days and nights. Salem likes the blending of all these moments because there are the gifts that Salem holds close. Salem feels so grateful that Mom believes in Salem and has , and does allow Salem to live in harmony at home where Salem is surrounded with love. This feels like a spiritual life for Salem because of all the positive energy flowing in Salem’s life. There are angels, there is love, there is healing from within and most of all there is peace. Salem just marvels at what a wonderful experience this is.
What a lovely reading and a wonderful session! Salem began his session by eating half a small can of food, which is quite an accomplishment if you remember my concerns about his weight loss and lack of appetite. After eating and a moment of cleaning his face, Salem laid down upright in one of his favorite places. His ears swiveled as if looking for a source of sound, and then stayed forward and very alert. He looked straight ahead at something unseen, and then proceeded to pay close attention to his session. At this point several other of our cats wandered into the area and loitered around, picking up some of the energy for themselves 🙂 About halfway into the session, Salem rolled over onto his side, S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D out, and then totally relaxed for the rest of the healing. After a while, he got up and proceeded to finish off the other half can of food (yea!).
I love how Salem “speaks” of peace, harmony, and a spiritual life. He and I often pray and meditate together, calling on and thanking our spiritual guides and angels for their presence in our lives. I definitely do believe in him, and always will. He’s my best buddy.
