I would like to setup a session for Maggie. She is still doing pretty well, but could use a session to help her do better. She is having a little trouble seeing which makes her a bit skittish if stuff moves cause she can’t see it well. She also has been asking for a lot of comfort lately, wanting to be held and massaged and loved on. I can tell from her eyes that she is not feeling as good as she is used to and she worries. She still plays and is eating just fine – her favorite thing is pita chips with raw sugar and cinnamon on them!
Maggie said Maggie feels confused and lost once in awhile. Maggie just knows Mom has the healing touch of love and kindness that offers Maggie so much comfort. Maggie does appreciate the love and support that Maggie’s guardian angel brings to Maggie often . Even the visits from Teddy and Bobo have been a comfort to Maggie. Maggie believes that Maggie’s head and body are mixed up. Maggie went to sleep and woke up in this hazy place. Sometimes it makes Maggie feel tired all day and other times Maggie feel tired all day and other times Maggie is able to resume the life Maggie knows . Maggie watches Fletcher for cues about how Maggie is doing. Fletcher can tell if Maggie is having an off day. Mom has been understanding and giving Maggie the extra care and attention Maggie is craving now . Mom makes Maggie feel so safe and loved.
Maggie was outside with me as I was working on the garden. She always comes where I am, either my office when I am working or the garden or wherever. It was so pretty today we’ve been outside most of the day. When 3 came around and the session started, She stood for a minute with her head cocked to one side, then laid down on the grass in the shade and just seemed to completely relax. She was all stretched out and just limp and dozing. Fletcher came over and sniffed her, then did his lion on the savannna imitation and laid down next to her and went on guard. I just sat and watched the hummingbirds buzzing around us and watched Maggie. At one point she was wiggling her feet, but mostly she was just breathing deeply and relaxed. When the session was over she got up and came over to me to ask for pets. She climbed into my lap, put her chin on me and looked into my eyes. She just seemed to say so clearly “Thanks mama. That helped. I love you.” I cuddled and petted for a bit, then Fletcher joined us then Molly. We had a little love fest right there under our Maple tree! The hummingbirds were checking us out, hovering around and squeeking at us. Then Maggie got up and went over to check out the tomato plants and everything was just lovely.
Thanks so much from all of us for helping Maggie. It’s good to hear that Fletcher helps her. Molly plays with her, Fletcher guards her and they all sleep in a puppy pile to gether. She is SUCH a good girl and deserves to feel safe and happy.
