Miss Callie is a beautiful Manx kitty that arrived at our doorstep several years ago cold, hungry and very pregnant. Now, a little more than seven years later, Callie and her four beautiful boys are still with us.
Callie is a serene, loving kitty, and has always been healthy and well-adjusted. However, lately she has begun to lick, scratch and groom herself to the point of causing lesions and hair loss. She has been seen twice by the our wonderful vet, and seemed to have recovered but is now started it again.
Attached are two photographs of Callie. Her companion in the second photo is Tigger, one of her “boys.”
Hopefully she can give you her input on the when you connect with her. Please send her healing and angels, and check in if there’s anything she wants to tell us or that we can do for her.
Callie said Callie is glad you are cooling off Callie’s skin. For Callie it feel prickly and then too warm then itchy. Callie uses the cooling, relaxing, calming tongue to stop the tingling sensation. Callie wonders if maybe Callie has too much on her mind and Callie’s thoughts are sending shivers down Callie’s nerve endings of Callie’s skin. Callie did hear something about herpes of the skin? could Callie have this? Callie is asking because the person describing some symptoms that were similar to Callie’s. Callie is not sure the Dr Vet really explored any of Callie’s suggestions. Callie is grateful you are listening and understanding.
Thank you so much for Callie’s reading and healing! She spent the time leaning against my leg in bed and kneading the blankets. I don’t remember hearing anybody mention the herpes symptoms, unless “Dr. Vet” (I love that) mentioned it along with several other possibilities. He has offered a referral to a veterinary dermatologist, and we are scheduling that today.
Since Callie is feeling prickling and itching, I have begun applying an ointment Dr. Vet recommended to the areas of her skin that seem to bother her. I will also look for an appropriate flower essence (crab apple, maybe) and place a crystal (probably rose quartz or amethyst) near her bed area.
Callie did seem a bit more comfortable this morning. She ate well, sat in the window for a while, and then curled up in bed purring as I cuddled with her before leaving for work.
