Guess who came up on our back steps this morning! It’s the kitten I told you about, Ming. You can see that she’s very cute (at least I think she’s a she!) None of the other kitties like her and she seems lonely. But, she’s frisky and letting us get pretty close to her now.
I would like Reiki for her because I think she is still sick. (It seems like an ear infection to me.) And also so she can relax and let us pet her and take care of her. She needs to go to the vet for a check-up, shots and to get spayed. But she is so scared of being touched, we can’t even pet her! We are not trying to catch her right now. That would scare her more, I think. Please let her know that we love her and only want what’s best for her and after she gets done at the vets, she will get to come right back home and live here forever.
Bentley Kitty said Bentley Kitty likes the people here. They have been kind of Bentley. Yes, they gave Bentley this name and they also call me Kitten and Kitty. Bentley sounds more permanent. The name makes Bentley feel like Bentley belongs to this home and these people. Bentley likes the food and water they are always providing Bentley with. The humans have been welcoming to Bentley but there are animals inside their home that seem unhappy with Bentley’s arrival from time to time. Bentley tries to keep a distance from the inside to prevent any harm coming to Bentley. Yes, Bentley does believe the humans are wanting to be friends and care givers to Bentley. Bentley lets them handle all the stuff they need to because Bentley needs to because Bentley realizes Bentley needs their love and support to survive.
Thank you, Ming and Candy, for taking such good care of Bentley! Jerry was in the barn with her during her session and reported that while she was getting reiki, Bentley calmly took her bath and than just sat there, looking relaxed and introspective. We do have her name now! Bentley it is!
