We had a session for Jake after his surgery… Mom wrote us: we sent Reiki energy healing to Jake and asked the Archangels to assist us as well. Mom wrote:
I’m just starting to see the beginnings of his mega watt smile and his sweet propeller tail is starting to wag a little but he could really use a special boost from you and Candy. He really needs to sleep more – he isn’t sleeping very much at all and I think its because he can’t see all that well with his cone and he is anxious becasue of it. This whole thing has really frightened him, poor sweetie. He’s better when I sleep in his play pen with him and cuddle with him but he really needs to relax and let his wound heal up. They took a huge hunk out of his back leg but thankfully they got the entire tumor and were also able to get the 2cm all around it that they needed to be sure they got everything. Luckily they didn’t have to harvest any of his leg muscle. I’m hoping that there are no complications or infections as it heals up. His scar is pretty long, I’d say about 7 or 8 inches and its still pretty red. We will hear in about a week about the cancer – mast cell tumors are graded from 1 to 3, 1 being the best outcome and 3 being the worst. I understand what the Psalmist meant when he talked about “praying without ceasing”…. I am praying for a grade 1 and find myself praying without even really thinking about it…. he’s such a sweet, brave boy!! The girls are doing well and today they actually took a few breaks from hovering to go outside and play and chase each other around the yard which is good – they needed a fun break! So its just my sweet boy who needs mental and physical healings and lots of angels and encouragement.
Jake says, wow Jake needs all the angels to help Jake out of this scary neck brace thing they put Jake into. Jake is so good and Jake’s neck is fine too so mom needs to help Jake out and take this contraption off. Even Rachael and Alexa are afraid of Jake with this brace. Jake’s butt is sore too. They cut out some piece out of everyone’s beloved Jake. The angels did surround Jake so Jake was fine during all the Vet stuff. Mom and Dad are still looking sad but not Jake. Jake is happy to be home.
I knew as soon as his session began – Jake’s head popped up about a minute or two before his session was due to start and he was looking around like crazy. After a moment or two he lay down and began to do those deep groans that dogs do when their favorite sweet spot is being scratched for about 5 minutes. It was really sweet. He jumped up right after his session was over with his sweet smile on his face and his propeller tail wagging. I haven’t seen that pronounced a reaction since his first session. He really needed a visit from you today! Of course, the girls were nearby during his session snoring up a storm, lol. He just looks happier after his session, which he really needs right now. I had to laugh at his comments about his cone – he really, really, really doesn’t like it and has made it clear to us whenever he can, lol. I’ll keep you posted on how his incision heals up and what the oncology report says…. thank you SO much for fitting Jake in today – he soooo needed a special pick me up! Hugs, tail wags and puppy kisses from all of us to you and Candy!
