We received an email early in the morning for an emergency session. We were able to accomodate her request :
Michael was at the vet for an anal gland abscess. Physically it was a pretty minor incident. His psyche is what I’m most concerned about. After he got home things went down hill. The vet forgot to take the IV out of his arm so I had to attempt to put him back in the carrier to go back to the vet, which did not go over well. It ended with the vet tech coming to my home and dragging him out from under the bed in order to remove the IV. So… now Michael’s safety zone has been compromised. On top of all this, he is wearing a cone which is depressing him. And, in his attempts to dodge me and the vet tech, he is banging into things, hard, like a pin ball machine which is traumatizing him even more because of the cone. His trust level with me right now is very low. I can pet his head and shoulders but when I approach him he will start to pull away and sometimes just bolt which leads to more banging into things with the cone. He is just so scared right now. He can be a skittish and timid boy to begin with and last night’s events have just sent him over the edge. I want him to feel safe again with me and with his environment. I also want to be able to administer medication to him without further traumatizing him. In the state that he is in now, I’d just be making things much worse.This is Michael’s first Avesa session and my first experience with it as well; I’m very excited!
During the Avesa and Reiki session, 
Michael said Michael would like you to know what horrible stuff is happening here to Michael. Michael can only cry out help. Stop scaring and hurting Michael. Michael is miserable with the cone around Michael’s head then before this the Vet visit. Michael would like Mom to know that no matter what is going on in Michael’s body it is less painful the the “help” to heal Michael. Candy told Michael, we are sending you a kind, gentle and loving angel who will protect you Michael. There is even an Archangel named Michael. Michael said, yes! Michael needs protection. This angel is right here! Right now! Michael wants to jump into Michael’s angel because Michael feels safe.

We sent the healing energy to Michael’s brain and found the memories of all the dark, unhappy experiences and remove them from his mind. “Let it go Michael, all of this was done out of love for you” Michael said, Michael will accept the clearing because Michael feels safe and calm again.
We were so happy to hear back from Mom: Yay for Michael for feeling better!!
Wow! What a difference one Avesa Reiki session makes.
When I came home after Michael had his session he was uber-aaffectionate; like pre-vet visit Michael. Before the Avesa Reiki session he would back away from me or only allow a small amount of petting but you could tell he was not that comfortable and very stressed and skittish. I can say that his typical affection level has returned.
I took the cone off last night to provide him with some relief and what a different cat he is without that darn cone. So much more relaxed and exploring the whole house. With the cone he seems more confused and confines himself to hiding under the bed. He did allow me to put the cone back on with no fighting (as I was so worried about the resulting stress that a scuffle to get the cone on would cause). I hate to put it back on but there are times when I can’t monitor him and it’s necessary.He’s eating with the cone off and relaxing with the cone off and he allows me to provide him with his medication too, which is so important. It seems we’re in a routine now where I allow him time without the cone and he understands that sometimes I have to put it back on when I’m not in the room with him.He is not thrilled with the situation but his stress level is greatly reduced which is what the situation called for in order for me to give him meds and take care of him so that he can heal.I also contacted the vet with an idea… I asked if I could put a doggie diaper on Michael in lieu of the cone. The vet said it was OK for short periods however the wound needs to air out so it can’t be used as a long term solution to the cone. It might be an option for Michael if he allows me to put one on him.
So, Avesa works specifically on the chakra system? I am a Reiki practitioner too. I called you guys in because of your reputation, my own stress level not affording Michael the most from a session and I also wanted to try the Avesa. It seems like Avesa is such an awesome compliment to Reiki. I took a look at the institute where you studied because I would love to learn more. It seems they have a very limited teaching schedule. Do you know of others that teach Avesa that you might recommend?
