This was the request we received,  over protectiveness for 6 years wow.. but Mom was willing to give energy healing a try!

 

I’m not sure if you will have time to address all of Rico’s issues but his major one that seems to be impacting life in general is his anxiety/ protectiveness of me.  He came from a difficult background and was a fearful mess when we adopted him.  I have worked very hard on helping him build confidence to function normally and he has bonded mostly with just me.  He will be semi social with other people when I am not around but if I am there, that’s it, its just me.  This has become an issue between Rico and Mike , Mike’s feelings get hurt because Rico barks and growls at him every time he enters the room and Mike has given up trying to be friends with Rico (its been almost 6 years). I know that Mike is very tall and could be intimidating to a dog with fear issues but Rico needs to know that he is safe with Mike and that he needs to start trying a little in this relationship.  I know that Rico thinks he is well intentioned but he doesn’t realize that he is the one being the bully.  I know that you don’t claim to be a miracle worker but I sure hope you can try 🙂  Don’t get me wrong, he really is a sweet boy and I love him to pieces.  I just wish he wouldn’t make things quite so stressful…..

 

As we connected with Rico, Rico said, Rico is not afraid of you. Rico needs to do the best by Mom because Rico wants Mom to feel Rico’s strength and protection. Rico is grateful to Mom for Rico’s happy life and wants Mom to know she will always be safe with Rico by her side. Candy said, Rico, you are so wonderful and such a great guard dog- but Mom needs you to RELAX and learn to be kind and protect Mike too. Rico we are going to go into your brain and restart your fear center. Now when we start things up you will not be afraid of so many things. Yes, you will still feel very close to Momm but not overwhelmed by having to protect Mom. Rico will begin to feel more playful and really begin to enjoy being part of a family. Rico we are also going to send you your own angel to protect Rico. This will also allow Rico to relax and stop growling at the world. Your special angel will keep things safe.We also told Rico that Archangel Michael will protect Rico and he is a very large Archangel! Rico said, Rico thinks this is a lot to wrap around Rico’s dog brain but Rico likes the message. Rico can feel powerful , Rico can see Rico’s special angel now.

We heard back from Mom later:

Something very cool happened during Rico’s healing session.  At first he was sitting just taking everything in and then he would get up, walk around and circle and then lay back down (which made me laugh about the “wrapping around” comment).  After a while he just settled in.  During the treatment, Mike walked in from the other room and Rico did his typical barking but then he just stopped and walked up to him and actually wagged his tail:)  I was definitely impressed!

He is doing better towards Mike and the other aids so I think I should just focus on helping him with people who are more stable and not worry about helping an anxious dog and an anxious person…..

I do have to say, when we are alone or with a more stable group of people he does seem more at ease.  I will help remind him of his angels and that he does a great job of protecting me without needing to be a bully.  Thank you again for the session!
