We received an email from Alexa’s Mom:

When you get a chance, could you fit Alexa in for my last fur baby session? I caught her limping the other day and I have noticed that she is not running and playing all that much lately, even in the evening when it is cooler.  She is also hesitating for a minute or two before going upstairs, which she does when she hurts.  I am so worried that her arthritis is getting worse. Her doctors and surgeons have all said that it is just a matter of time and that we would be lucky if we got a year or two pain free before it progressed. That was about a year and a half ago.  We have her on a pain management program and I am taking her to see her vet on Thursday to discuss if there is anything else we need to be doing for her. I am so hoping that she has just tweaked something as she seems to be a little better today, but who knows with Alexa? She is such a stoic little thing!!

As we connected with Alexa, Alexa said: Alexa has had a rough few days. Alexa knows all that is happening is going to help Alexa’s body. Alexa really hopes all this “stuff” takes the things inside Alexa and makes them work better.

Candy told Alexa, now the BIG angels (Archangels) are now going to help us balance your chakras.The rays of color of each Archangel came and shined brightly while working on each  chakra.Candy also told Alexa : We are sending you your own special angel to stay with you. Your angel will go with you everywhere, to the Vet, the store , out to play. Your angel will always be there to protect and love you.

Alexa said, Alexa thinks this will be extra nice for Alexa! Sometimes when Alexa gets up to walk Alexa’s body feels strange. Alexa is sure that Alexa is walking forward then Alexa gets a sensation of leaning over to one side. Alexa tries to walk straight but Alexa can’t. Maybe with all this love and extra care Alexa’s body will walk right again. Alexa is okay. Alexa has her angel with her tonight. Thanks Mom.

Thank you so much Ming and Candy! Alexa is such a sweet brave little girl and I’m glad that she understands that we are trying to help her feel better. I think Alexa and the other two have gotten used to your visits – now at the beginnings of sessions they all just stretch out as soon as the session begins and groan in happiness, pretty much all in unison. The ones that aren’t getting the sessions seem to be feeling it too.

Alexa slept very deeply during her session, but about 20 minutes into it she had really, really potent gas, so bad that I looked to make sure she hadn’t had an accident in her sleep! It was pretty bad.  I mention that because when little baby Max had Reiki and threw up during the session, my vet said that she got chills when I told her because it meant that the Reiki was working and getting rid of toxins from his little body… not sure if the same holds true for gas, but it sure smelt toxic! Afterwards, she got up and went to bed. I’ll let you know how she does over the next few days. Tonight before her session she was feeling a little better – I guess the acupuncture and B12 and her new herbals are helping – and she was running and playing a little which was nice to see. Hopefully we will continue to see improvement over the next few days and the issue with her right knee will correct itself.

If the fur kids were awake they would send you puppy kisses and tail wags, but tonight they just send happy snores
