Tribute For Penny (an Emergency Foster at 9)

Penny’s Mom is such a wonderful lady. No, I have never met her in person. But it would be an honor to do so. She rescued Sweet Pea last summer whom I just fell in love with and cried when Sweet Pea crossed over. If you dont know Sweet Pea its worth a read.. its worth getting to know this sweet soul that just captured our hearts. On Mother’s Day this year I got an email from Penny’s Mom who is Sweet Pea’s mom… about another sweet older dog… I told Candy and she said let’s send Penny healing today…

i would love to buy a session w reiki, avesa, angels for my beautiful and much loved girl, penny.

i took her in as an emergency foster about 2 years ago at the age of 9. she is such a perfect and wonderful girl who ws fine and healthy until about 3 weeks ago when she had surgery to remove some growths. well, it turned out that one was malignant. during her healing time, a new malignant tumor grew, and we made an appointment to remove that next week. but last night she began vomiting, and her belly got very puffy. i contacted the vet, and brought her in. it turns out that her abdomen is full of blood tinged fluid and she may be in liver failure. we will go back tomorrow and learn more, but ultimately, all i want is for her to be free of pain. i do not want her to suffer. i love her very much and this is all happening too fast.

she is home with us now, resting, but i am not sure for how long. if she is in pain i will bring her into the vets again tonight.

During our session with Penny,

Your dear sweet Penny is such a love. Penny said Penny is ready. Penny feels excited because this feels so good. Penny can see all the BIG angels (she sees the Archangels) all around Penny too. All of the Archangels came in to assist with balancing Penny’s chakras. Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, Archangel Chamuel, Archangel Gabriel, Archangel Uriel and Archangel Zadkiel. Penny said, Penny thinks this is awesome stuff. Angels are here and now Penny can feel a calm peaceful feeling washing over Penny inside and out. Penny likes this healing work much better than going to the Vet because this is filled with amazing sensations and the best part is no fear or pain. Yeah, Penny is thinking this plan for Penny to have an angel stay with Penny all the time is genius! Penny likes plans that work out to help Penny feel good. Yes, Penny is so aware of the angel and the angel told Penny that the angel will always stay with Penny and keep Penny loved and protected.

We got an email back from Mom:

Then the next day penny is doing so much better tonight. the fluid in her belly is way down. we did the ultrasound today, there are nodules on her spleen(3) and liver(1). they aspirated them and we will see if they are cancer or not.

the only thing i am worried about right now is that she wont eat. today was a busy day at the vet, i am hoping she will eat tomorrow…

the session last night was sooooo good for her, i would like to give her another.

But later on, Penny wasn’t eating and Mom knew it was time for Penny to transition as a loving Mom does know.

Tonight as we connected with Penny, this wonderful soul: Our hearts go out to wonderful Penny’s Mama who takes care of these loving beings… we call dogs:

Penny said Penny feels super duper excellent- really . The angels, spirits and Sweet Pea were all here waiting to bring me over. The only sad and hard part for Penny was Mom’s sadness. Penny never wanted to cause Mom so much pain. Penny does know its because Penny had to leave Mom. Please tell Mom Penny and Sweet Pea have never left Mom. Connections are forever. Penny always saw Sweet Pea. mom close your eyes, open your heart and you will feel our souls come play again whenever you want us to.

I wish we could all be happy and excited for when its time to cross over for our fur babies because it is a wonderful place and yet they are still with us. I wish I could wipe out all the sadness. I just know everyone in Heaven is celebrating…sending Penny & Sweet Peas mom hugs and love & light.

Thank you for the comments Karen. Oh so true. The human side of it, the pain and the grief we experience and the tears. It is comforting though later knowing the fur babies are in a happy place and can still visit. Penny and Sweet Pea’s Mama is one special lady rescuing the older dogs that do have some problems.. no wonder Sweet Pea called her an angel.
