Time for another session for Jake! We heard from Mom:
I was wondering if we could use the last of the fur kid Reiki sessions for Jake. He’s doing fine but I want him to have something special just for him. It was a little stressful for the 3 kids for a while there after Rachael’s last session. I think they suddenly realized that Rachael is here forever and the jockeying for the new pecking order began. When it was just Jake and Alexa, Jake was the more dominant one but they seemed to take turns which worked for them. Now that we have Rachael, Alexa suddenly decided she wanted to try for the #1 spot and got into it with Jake. She instigated. I broke it up before anyone got hurt and gave them a firm correction, but neither one was going to back down. Then Alexa snarled at Rachael over something and I had to correct her again. After a couple of days of this, things suddenly settled down again and they are all happy. Now I think Alexa is slightly more dominant over Jake though they seem to trade that position like they did before and Rachael is clearly #3. Also, Rachael is faster than Jake and she gives him a run for the money when it comes to chasing the ball. That, along with the stresses of the house being on the market and always being ready to show must be difficult for him. So I’m thinking that my guy Jake could probably use a little TLC. I just want to make sure that he is doing OK and I want to be sure I am treating everybody fairly. He’s such a good dog.
When we connected with Jake, Jake said Jake gets a healing session from Mom because Mom knows that Jake is number one. Jake knows the girls (Rachael and Alexa) are absorbing this energy too. Jake is really glad that they are getting this amazing vibration throughout their bodies along with Jake, Things are very hectic sometimes at home. Mom tries to keep everyone happy and everything clean too. Now with the bossy, pushy, know it all girls to deal with everyday Jake needs to be the real “man” of this house. Rachael thinks she is fun, fast and cute, so Jake lets her catch more balls then Jake helps her feel good. Now Jake has to worry about Alexa’s feelings so Jake allows her to be the boss. Alexa needs to feel important so Jake gives it to her and bows to her. You see Jake is confident in who Jake is . Jake knows Jake has two sisters Jake needs to love and protect. Being a brother is the most important job for Jake. Mom knows who is number one- Jake!
After the session we heard back :
Oh my goodness, I’m just laughing reading your notes about Jakes session! He is so on target with his descriptions of “the girls” – they ARE bossy and pushy sometimes and Rachael DOES think she is cute and fast and fun and Alexa DOES need to feel important– that is such a perfect description of them!! His love and affection for them is so obvious even when they are being annoying and it’s nice to hear that he doesn’t feel left out. He just somehow manages to balance everyone out with his patient, easy going sweet personality while he goes about the business of taking care of his family. I’m glad he knows he is “number one” – I always tell him he is the top dog because he came into the family first and he is the oldest. He is such a wise guy – what a blessing that he found his way to us. We all benefit from his happy, balanced energy. I am so glad he is in a good place.
All of the kids were pretty much out cold for the whole session. They settled down quickly into a deep sleep though Jake did raise his head a few times with a listening kind of look on his face. I had covered him with his favorite blanket and snuggled with him during his session because that really blisses him out and he just pushed closer to me for more snuggles. I have a feeling that I will have three energetic, happy fur kids tomorrow!
