This is a tribute to Sweet Pea. When I heard that she had died in Mom’s arms the other night, I burst into tears. It reminded me of the first time I had lost a kitty client that I had given over 13 Reiki sessions to. The connection to the soul becomes so strong. (even though I never get to meet them in person) Sweet Pea’s story touched me from the very beginning. She being left at a school tied to a post. But then came her Mom Sarah who had not even met her yet but saw her picture and name. She and we connected with her as she was at the Vet with not even a good prognosis. But Sweet Pea connected with her “foster” Mom Sarah. Once Sarah got her home, there was no more foster, it was just Mom.
As we connected with Sweet Pea this Christmas morning,

sweet pea was/is such a special girl. in the end, so many loved her, so many were touched by her, and so many mourn her passing. what an amazing little being. i feel so honored to have spent these last months with such a being. her physical needs were so challenging, but her sweetness and silliness through them all were just amazing. sweeps was one of my greatest teachers. an angel.
