Willow said OUCH, OW.. Willow hurt her body. Willow did get lots of attention but Willow knows Mom is upset. Willow is sorry. Yes, Willow is ready to start the energy healing now. We sent healing energy to all of Willow’s cells and Willow’s own healing energy was activated. Willow’s healing energy is very powerful with special antibodies for healing. Willow likes knowing that her own healing energy has amazing power inside Willow. We put a protective shield around the inside of Willow’s incision so that all the healing energy will stay inside and no bacteria will enter her wound. The angels are going to watch over Willow and protect Willow and keep her strong while Willow is healing. Willow sees the angels and they make Willow feel special because they love Willow!

Next day we heard back from Mom:

I just wanted to give you a quick update on Willow, she is healling well and I am very pleased with how her injury is looking.  Still no signs of infection, she did have a low grade fever on Monday, but it has gone back to normal, and the swelling really isn’t bad at all.  The wound is not as hot as it used to be either, it’s warm, but that’s to be expected.  It’s hard with horses because they are such large animals, extra fluid tends to pool in the ‘low’ spots… in much the same way as your foot sweels because it’s closest to the ground.  For chest and abdominal wounds, the low spot is the bottom of the belly, and Willow only has just a bit of fluid build up there.  She is eating great, feeling as good as can be expected and is being really good about letting me treat it.  I will take pictures in another few days.  Thanks so much!
