We received this request for the kitty: Hi Ladies, I am a foster mom to a kitten with a spinal injury of an unknown origin (actually we have 7 fosters,16 pets all together, but that isn’t relevant to this discussion or maybe it is). I have become concerned because her gait has changed and her use of the litter box has decreased ( she keeps missing). I am a Reiki practitioner as well but reading your stories makes me think you might be the way to go.My concern is that the shelter may not want to treat her for whatever condition she may have, so I thought Reiki certainly can’t hurt.
Another foster Mama taking care of another foster fur baby! We love to Reiki cats because they are so intuitive and wise. We look forward to her session.
When we connected with Siohban , she said she lives in a fun house. Siohban gets love and attention in this house. Siohban said she is paying attention to us and the Reiki. No, Siohban doesn’t know about missing Siohban’s potty box. Siohban does notice that she sometimes cannot make her back legs move very easily. Siohban feels a pinch/pressure that runs down her legs sometimes. Siohban is a pretty kitty and a happy kitty too.
She was such a sweet kitty. She was not in any real pain. Just the little pressure she feels every now and then, and its not always either. We directed the healing energy to each vertebrae as well as to her brain and all the way down her spinal cord. We asked the healing angels and Archangel Raphael to help us heal Siohban as well!!

Hi Ladies,
I wanted to update you about Siobhan. We took her to the neurologist to see if anything could be done to at least stabilize her. After looking at the x-rays, the neurologist felt fracture in her spine was further up than previously thought. Originally the shelter thought the problem was at the sacrum. The vet thought an MRI might pinpoint the type of injury and then we would know if surgery was even an option. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints the MRI is not even possible right now.
We have instead been asking the healing angels to visit and stay with her throughout the day. Siobhan has not regained the use of her legs yet and for now we’ve given up on the litter box, too much stress for her to get in and out successfully.
We have not and will not give up on Siobhan though, as long as she doesn’t appear to be in pain, has a good quality of life and appears to be happy with us she will stay a part of our family on this plane.
Thank you for taking the time to send her Reiki energy and loving thoughts.

Hello Michele, thank you for the update on Siobhan. Wonderful that she is not in any pain. We will send her some healing angels and Archangel Raphael as well! That is good you are sending them as well. Blessings to Siobhan and the rest of your fur babies!

Siobhan left us last week. Her spinal fracture became unstable and her pain was so intense that she was screaming. The decision to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge was a hard but necessary one, we could not leave her in that pain.
I appreciate the time you took with her during her session.
Thank you,
Michele
