As Charlie settles into his new home and makes the loving connection with his new parents I am sending them all blessings each evening with my prayers. I have no doubt about the success of this relationship because the intention of love and care is there. They are gentle, kind and both loving people. I had many choices for homes for Charlie, but I knew these were Charlie’s parents. They had been looking for each other and I had the honor to bring them all together.
Now I need to send out my acknowledgement to all those who contributed to the happy outcome for Charlie. My first recognition goes to my husband, and fur babies, who are always willing to open our home, and their hearts to whatever comes their way. With Charlie having a terrible case of ring worm, (very contagious to all of us ) they never hesitated in accepting him into our lives. We would all do whatever Charlie needed to get better. We all understood he was here in a foster care situation too.
Of course my biggest supporter in all of this is my best friend and amazing business partner Ming. She was always there with words of encouragement, strength, along with helping to subsidize all the medical expenses Charlie incurred. Ming always has a soft and loving heart for any fur baby in trouble. She was relentless in her search to help identify his owners and when that failed then her pursuit was to find him the best possible home on the planet.
Dr. Thornberry and Dr Fiztpatrick from Bay Cities Veterinarian Hospital. They gave Charlie the best care and at times I was not charged a Vet fee, and for the major surgery, etc. I was given a nice discount. All of this was greatly appreciated and my thanks again go out to both of them also to their kind and loving staff. They all championed our Charlie and wished the best for this little guy.
Marina Pet Spa saw Charlie when he was first rescued and offered to clean and bathe him for free. The whole staff said they would chip in, and it would no cost to me. When I picked up a much cleaner Charlie I gave them a tip which they tried to refuse. I insisted and told them I wanted to pitch in.
Then Shannon Benecke and her very sweet husband took time out of their busy life and drove over to meet Charlie. Shannon has her own pet sitting business and I was deeply touched that she would come to check out Charlie. Shannon and her husband gave us some new and interesting insights to Charlie’s possible background. They bolster me up a lot because I really have a lot on my plate from day to day.
I have a real obligation to all the fans from Reiki Fur Babies because I read all your words of kindness and support. They kept me going. I have such an appreciation for each one of you that took the time to share a story of your fur baby. Gratefulness comes from many different people and I don’t want to let this opportunity go by with out acknowledging all of you with my gratitude and love.
Also a big thanks to last year’s family that rescued Charlotte the baby cocker spaniel for their gift of wonderful animal angel books. Thank you!
