This week’s Reiki session with Kelsie brought home to me a lot of feelings lately about animal abuse. When we gave mental healings to Kelsie it was because she was attacked by a neighborhood dog. What made her tremble in fear was not so much the attack from the dog but the loud voices she heard. This triggered a memory in her that when she heard loud voices she would be beaten. Thank the Universe that she now belongs to a very loving home. Her Mom, Dad and big brother do nothing but shower her with love. They had even told me they had thought that she may have been abused. Kelsie told us of her story:
As Reiki Fur Babies grows, we have been getting tons of emails, requests on our fan page to help countless animals. We can’t help everyone, not that we wouldn’t want to but we just can’t. Its just like wouldn’t you want to just give every starving child some food or shelter? We can only do our part.
What we have been called to do is to heal those pets and people that come to us. That is our vision and our calling.
I was telling my friend the other day, that I cannot look at animals that have been tortured or abused. It literally hurts my heart and soul so much that my stomach will hurt. I applaud all of you out there that can take care of them and work towards changing laws and working at those shelters!
Just listening to Kelsie today brought tears to my eyes and anger to my heart. I had to keep that anger in check. I don’t understand people that would hurt an animal. Which leads me to what my friend told me, she told me that the way we are helping is one pet at a time. It was such a good reminder to hear that. I love to send healing energy to animals. It gives me so much joy! We all have our part in helping. Each of us doing a little will help all the wonderful pets on our planet. Let’s give back to them what they give us!

Hi,I see your updates on facebook. There are lots of stray dogs in my country.Animal rescue shelters are not as sophisticated as they are in your country. If a dog slips and falls into a well, its difficult to rescue.I did learn level1 and level 2 in reki.I have subscribed to your blog on facebook.I have a request…
1.Can you please suggest as how we can give reki to pets?Atleast those of us who know reki can help to give reki to pets.
2.Which archangel should we call for if we have to rescue an injured pet. Some times we need peoples help to rescue pets and no one comes forward. What should we do?
I am not from America or europe.
Please reply.
Thanks,
Cd.

Hi Cd, where are you from? Thanks for following us on FB. If you have learned Reiki 1 and 2 you can do hands on as well as distance healing. What type of Reiki did you learn? Did you learn symbols or not? If you are able to do hands on , place your hands anywhere on the animal connect to Reiki and the Reiki will flow. As for the Archangels, Ask Archangel Raphael to help you heal the animals. Thanks for the comments!

Having had a cat named Smokey that was used as a football for a teenagers amusement I can say how it really messes with their heads even in a different life. I now have Beanie, who Smokey incarnated into, who when I first adopted her she had the same fear issues that Smokey did, with a lot of reiki and help from other healers we now have Beanie knowing she will never be used as a football again and she’s a whole lot better, she still doesn’t like being picked up!!! It’s a never ending process when you rescue but it makes you feel so good knowing you are getting another violence victim out of that enviorement. But she comes and wants her lovin’ we call it Beanie time!!! So Kelsie you are in my prayers and I will send reiki to you…it gets better Kelsie!!!

I volunteer for 2 different horse rescues near where I live and I thank God that I don’t have to deal with the perpatraitors, I trailer the horse to s safe place where I know they are going to get all the love, care and attention that they deserve. I have to admit there have been times while driving away I just have tears streaming down my face because what these evil people have done.
