While Alexa was having elbow surgery, her brother Jake received a Reiki session!  Mom said, A little about Jake – he is a sweet, happy, easy going kind of guy. His intuition is literally off the charts! If he says that there is something bad going on in the neighborhood, or someone has a bad vibe or something just isn’t right, he will immediately come and tell me and he is always, always, always right. It’s pretty amazing and sometimes a little scary. He has kept me safe on more than one occasion. He’s my junk yard rescue.

During Jake’s Reiki session he said Mom and Dad are always looking out for us but I am keeping my eyes and senses aware of everything for them. Yes, Reiki ladies I know Alexa is going for surgery. I can hear and we all worry about her. I know she will be okay. I know things (and he smiles). I like this reiki energy. Its a warm relaxing energy feeling deep inside me maybe to my soul. I can feel myself get more of my energy going. But we all know that I always feel pretty good. I know that I am the lucky dog here. I am grateful too.

Candy and I were so touched by Jake. He knows he’s the one that doesn’t have the surgeries and he’s grateful for that. Is that not amazing. Such an intuitive dog. He also knows his sister is going to be okay. Sure enough she is.

His Mama said during Jake’s session :
Yes, he is such a sweet guy! I am so blessed. When his session started, Jake gave me a very long, very contented look and then a bigggg stretch and sigh when it was over. Typical laid back, happy Jake. I’ll be curious to see how he does today – normally when Alexa is away for surgery he won’t leave my side for even a moment – he worries about his little family.
