One of our clients on Valentines Day was this kitty!

Hi Candy and Ming, I’m wondering if you have room in your schedule to do a Reiki session on one of my kitties this week — just doing it as a special treat for my kitty Princess. She’s approximately 14 or 15 years old — don’t know as she is a rescue kitty — I’ve had her since 2002 and it was guessed that she was around 7 at that time. A little history: She had bladder stones last October but they have since dissolved. As you probably know I very much believe in homeopathy and holistic care so I have gone that route with her as I have with all of my animals since Dasher first got sick in 2008. She does have a lump on her tail that comes and goes — it’s really weird. The vet didn’t seem to think it was anything to worry about. Overall, she’s healthy but still has a few pounds to lose. She doesn’t move around that much any more other than to eat, use the litter box and go from the office to the bedroom to sleep which might partly be due to her being overweight, so if anything, that’s my main concern because she used to love going outside (before we had dogs) and now she only goes outside if I carry her outside.

When we went into connect with Princess. Candy said to Princess. Hi, Happy Valentine’s Day, your Mom wants you have some Reiki energy healing. Princess says nothing. Then Candy said how does that feel Princess? Princess says nothing. Candy says you are a beautiful cat. Princess says nothing. Finally after a few minutes Princess says, I like to observe. I’m not a “doer” or a “talker” like the rest of the family. I just observe. I observe the comings and goings, the ups and downs. You wanted to know about going outside? It’s TOO much. There is too much going on out there for Princess to observe. WAY too much. I need and enjoy my home. And yes, I do like the Reiki that is another observation of mine! (She’s so funny! and very intuitive just as cat is!)

And a PANDA showed (first time for me) Panda says to you: you can do anything you want once you set your mind to it, especially if the desire comes from your heart. Take yourself somewhere up high where you can view the world below and meditate from this vantage point observing how you feel as you do so. Rather than juggling a whole bunch of projects take one at a time and finish it before moving on to the next. Rely on your intuitive voice for guidance rather than input from others.

When we heard back from Mama, she laughed and said that it sounded like Princess!! I always find that funny. She also said the Panda message resonated!
