We received this email early afternoon:
Rudy received Reiki for a bladder infection 2 weeks ago. He seems to be fine, but the vet wanted to check his urine to ensure that the bacteria was cleared. I just got a call from the vet saying they need to check his blood for liver function, as his urine showed an abnormal bilirubin level. I don’t fully understand the issue, I need to wait until the bloodwork results come back. Needless to say, I am very worried.
After discussing it we decided to Reiki him that evening. He is always a joy to Reiki as he has such great energy, such a happy dog and even makes us laugh! As we went into Reiki him, I set the intention for normal liver enzymes to come back. I told Candy worse case, even if this dog had liver disease (which seemed unlikely as he was not lethargic, happy otherwise) he would be okay in the end. Candy said she would worry too if she was told this. We asked the healing angels, Archangel Raphael to join us in the healing. We directed all of the Reiki to his liver. I’m sure it got pretty warm there for him! Towards the end of the session, Candy checked in and Rudy said he was warm inside and it felt good. He also said he didn’t want to go to the Vet and asked Mom to call him instead (he’s so funny!) He of course still is waiting for his puppy (patiently) . During the Reiki session, a coyote appeared for a short time. Next came in a platypus. A what? I saw a duck billed creature and before I could even figure out what that was, I heard “platypus”. What? I had to be sure. “Platypus”. I thought wow, wait till we talk about this one.
I’ve noticed in the last several Reiki sessions that the power animal is not just healing the pet or the person, there is a message for the owner. It must be because the owner, the Mama is so connected to the pet. Often and always, the pet is even thinking about their Mama and Dad during the Reiki sessions which is why they often talk about them. I’ve been asking our clients if they are getting resonance from the animals that show and what they signify and the answer has been YES!!
When I did the write up I wrote a little about the platypus. But not everything. I do believe I wanted to hear back from Mama.. if ANY of this resonated or was the platypus for me? Partly, yes, this platypus was for me too. BUT, platypus HIGHLY resonated for Mama. I was amazed. I told her I’d send more information.
In the morning, we heard back from Mama:
Hi Ming and Candy,
Good news!!!! Vet called this AM and Rudy’s lab tests are completely normal!! They said that sometimes the test they perform on the urine could yield a “false positive”. Rudy is healthy!
He was so cute during his Reiki session yesterday. He was all excited and running around the house playing with all of his toys just prior to the session, I was wondering if he was going to be still for the Reiki ! At exactly 9:30 ET he went to his bed and buried his face underneath his 2 stuffed animal dogs…he is so cute when he does that! He was very calm and slept the rest of the night. This morning he’s his usual happy, energetic self!
It is interesting about the coyote and platypus. Their messages definitely mean alot to me. I struggle with living so far from my parents and siblings, and my husband just doesn’t understand why I care so much/am so loyal to them. The platypus…how awesome! Long story…but I can SO understand why he/she showed up!
