We got a request to Reiki a very loveable Great Dane with CHF. We were told he had some edema, some problems with his back legs. When I saw his pictures he did look so loveable and so big!  As we went into his Reiki session he said to Candy that he was very happy and content. He even felt “Royal” most of the time. (His name is Royal!) Though he is so big he said he was quite shy and afraid of some of his surroundings but was getting much better with it.

We sent Reiki to his entire body from head to tail emphasizing on his heart. We had Bodhisattva and another mighty brown horse come in and help us with the healing in a mighty way!

We heard from Mama the next day:

Thanks so much for Royal’s Reiki session. He actually was very relaxed yesterday afternoon and evening. Today he is in a great mood. There are no visible signs of enhanced or reduced edema in his legs at this time. Currently he is not experiences any major edema though. It comes and goes. You are right, he is the sweetest and most beautiful dog, such a pleasure to have as a companion. He has brought such joy to our lives. We most certainly are loving him up and hoping that, despite his illness, he will be a part of our family for as long as he was meant to be. … and, I’m not sure if you just picked up on it, but lots of things do scare Royal and always have. He really does take great comfort in having me, especially, around.
