We received this email :I want Jake and Alexa to know that they are very loved and that I am so thankful and proud of all they did to help get Rachael (and the other fosters) ready for her new home. I also want to make sure that Jake and Alexa know that they aren’t going anywhere!

When we connected with Alexa:

Alexa said Alexa can feel all the energy flying around here. Alexa was feeling the healing energy that Rachel was experiencing during her session with you. Now its Alexa’s one on one! Wow, Alexa is going to feel like Alexa has high octane running through Alexa’s body and vibrating into Alexa’s brain. Everyone is in separation anxiety mood because Rachel is leaving. It makes Alexa sad a  little because there is always an adjustment when Rachel or any new dog arrives then Alexa must prepare for the departure. Of course deep inside Alexa  Alexa wonders if Alexa is leaving next? Mom has been really caring and loving to Alexa and all of us… but.. Rachel will be fine on her move because she has these loving protective angels with her. Yes, Alexa has angels too. It will feel good to have Alexa’s family back at least for awhile.

Aww, poor Alexa! She is my deep thinker and I hate that she worries that she might be going too!! Jake seems to understand what we are doing with the fosters but Alexa was never homeless so I guess she doesn’t quite grasp what is going on.I will keep reassuring her and I will hold off on fosters until she gets to a place where she realizes that she isn’t going anywhere and that we are just helping dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. She is such a natural in helping to rehab these dogs and get them to a good place mentally – she is really very very good at it.

It looked like she was having a conversation during part of her session and she was pretty alert for most of it. Then she just flaked out totally and didn’t move until Jake’s session was over. Lots of energy afterwards though!!

Thank you so much for giving me additional insight into what is going on with my girl. She is my littlest angel and how she is doing emotionally is just as important as how she is doing physically! She will be getting lots of TLC and special attention!
