This is definitely a work in progress. There is so much going on that I thought I better start writing or I will start to not even remember! I’m following my intuition as I’m learning all of this. Since Mochi’s passing, I was talking with Bridget Pilloud (www.petsaretalking.com) she helped me tremendously in Mochi’s transition. She told me during the time when Mochi was being put to sleep she had connected with her energetically. She saw Mochi “temple bound”. She described to me a beautiful picture of a temple for cats where Mochi took her place. Cats nodded as if to greet or welcome her. (Bridget will have to describe this on her website) Mochi is an ascended master Bridget told me. Wow. I thought. The first time Bridget talked to Mochi early this year, she told me that she had never experienced such cat energy. (I logged that in the back of my mind) Then later on when we were having an infestation of mites and fleas this summer…Mochi told Bridget there was a hole in our energy grid above our house. What?! Bridget told me she has NEVER seen or heard that before. All of this of course lodged in my memory. Now with the new information, Mochi is/was an ascended master.
When I am in meditation, Mochi comes. I see her. She is moving about. She leaves, she comes back. She is there. During Reiki sessions, not only are there horses, Parker and Breeze, a cat named Sophie but now there is Mochi.
When I was alone with Mochi and saying my good byes, I asked Mochi who will look after the energy grid above our house?
I now know, I won’t need to worry about that.
Animals do not become ascended masters.
Animals have a last incarnation before they evolve further.

Just curious, why couldn’t animals be ascended masters? I think they’re more evolved than we humans are already. My kitty certainly helps me when I give reiki and has done some amazing things with energy work. Again, just wondering if there is a reason why they could not be.
Ming, thank you for sharing this story. I’m glad that Mochi is still with you and I am so sorry for your sudden loss. Your account of Mochi’s passing made me cry and hug my furbaby ever so much more tightly.

I appreciate your comments as well on the ascended masters. Mochi has been in every one of our Reiki sessions since she has crossed over. I know she is helping and has much work to do too!
Animals DO become Ascended Masters! Just a different form of Ascended Masters, they are not in the human realm where Jesus, Buddha, etc are from but they are in the animal realm of Ascended Masters where they become guides of work for both humans AND animals.
Ever heard of your Animal Spirit Guide, this is an Ascended Master that comes to you and offers its wisdom/lessons etc to you throughout your life. This is a more accepted knowledge with Shamanism and Native American traditions. Mochi I believe is an Ascended Master too.

Why do we get all wrapped up in our definitions about ascended masters?
Is it impossible to imagine that a cat may hold the same enlightenment as a buddha?
Animals and people are not spiritually different from one another, each spirit simply harbors a certain energy.
What I most love about Mochi (and Sophie and Parker and others) is not that their spiritual status but the help that they provide.
Thanks Bridget. You have put it so succinctly. When I asked the angels this morning about Mochi they didn’t even answer that question and you know they always answer! My feeling afterwards was the same as you. No matter “what” she is, Mochi is definitely a healer with enlightenment.
