Last week we got a request on our Face Book page for a Reiki session  ( www.facebook.com/reikifurbabies ) She asked us this,

I have a half austtrailian shepherd/Husky mix that is EXTREMELY tempermental, dominant & over-protective of me { as well as her food & rawhide}. There are only TWO other dogs my dog gets along with which is my mom’s dog & my former step-dads dog. She also has anxiety issues as well ! { That she’s on meds for}
She also HATES having her nails trimmed { A bad experience, With an INEXPERIENCED groomer)

Candy and I sat to discuss how we were going to approach this dog.  She needed mental healings. As we connected with the dog, she took the Reiki in easily but said this right away, “Oh no, I’m the alpha, I’m the one in charge, I’m always on guard and need to watch out”. Candy told her it was okay to let her Mama take care of her and watch over her as the energy flowed.  She said it was HER JOB to protect her Mama.  We continued to let the Reiki flow to her.  Candy suggested to the Mama if she didn’t already to tell her that she’ll watch over her and the food.  We gave her double mental healings as there seemed to be no physical issues with her.  She had the energy of such a “macho” dog.

Shortly after the session we heard back from Mama. Always so exciting for me to get feedback!! Love it when the pet parents respond so quickly!

She told us that ” She seems a little more relaxed today, She seemed calmer when I took out outside, There were kids playing tackle football across the street from us & usually she will bark at kids playing around, as if she’s telling them…YOU BETTER NOT COME OVER HERE, IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU !  LOL
