Right now we have two regular clients. That means they get regular Reiki no matter really what’s going on. Their Mama’s have budgeted it into their regular care for them which is great. Its great for the pets and of course for us too. What I am really enjoying the evolving of the pet that is getting regular energy healing. In the past we had some regular kitties but they were sick with cancer and the Reiki was providing them pain relief and comfort.

Our first is a parrot, she gets regular Reiki sessions twice a month. The first time we had a session with her she did have some problems and we needed to give her mental healings.  Then some time lapsed by and she participated in our Reiki Talk beta testing this summer. I know her Mama found it fascinating on how she described the Reiki and how much she liked it. She also was able to find out she was picking at herself because she was trying to help her Mama who was stressed out at the time. That was the only way the parrot knew to help.  Shortly after that, she was signed up for regular sessions.

What has struck both Candy and Is that we are seeing the pet evolve too getting the energy constantly and consistently.  Last night we noticed with the parrot was that she was so excited we were there and immediately just took the energy in. While I did the physical healing, meaning I just go through the body and see if there is anything that needs healing Candy does the mental. Candy laughed as the parrot nuzzled her. She said I had no idea parrots were so affectionate. The Mama since the last few Reiki sessions sent us videos of the parrot of who happy she is now. She did not tell her husband that the parrot was getting Reiki until one night he said to her, she is so much happier now. Then she told him, she has been getting Reiki. Wow.

Our other regular client though not scheduled gets Reiki often as well. She has pancreatitis and is on special diet so it’s a constant challenge for her Mama. Finding the right food and making sure her dog eats it. She also has a terrible allergy to fleas and that’s also not  a fun thing to deal with. But this little dog loves her Mama, she too participated in Reiki Talk beta testing this summer and I remember her telling Janet, if Mama would only look into my eyes she would see how much I love her.  She is this Mama’s first dog. What a connection.

So this week this dog received two Reiki sessions once on Monday then on Thursday. Her Mama went on a vacation and wanted her dog to be comforted at the Kennel club where she was boarded.  On Monday she said to us “Mine, Mine,  Mine!!” The t shirt from Mama, blanket, toys and Reiki are all mine! She was so funny. All the other dogs in the kennel received some of the energy anyways despite her calling it “Mine”.  Last night when we connected with her, she said with a soft voice, “Again for me? Again for me?” She was calm and sweet , so happy we were back. We assured her that her Mama would be home in a few days and gave her healing from head to toe.

I love these two.. I love all the pets we Reiki. They truly are special creatures, give love to their owners. We are so honored and privileged we can Reiki them.
