So this is very very exciting!! We have only had this from a client one other time and that is our golden retriever who received 3 Reiki sessions and we received before and after pics.

This time we are so privileged to see and witness a horse with Cushings disease before and after our Reiki session with her! This horse clearly looked like she was suffering. As her Mama and I were discussing her symptoms and disease we decided to act as quickly as we could.  Candy and I wanted to alleviate any immediate pain she was in. During the day the angels were there comforting her while waiting for us to start the session. I thought about Cushings disease. I thought about what kind of disease it was and where it starts from- Cushing’s Disease is caused by a tumor of the pituitary gland, which is the small gland at the base of the brain which regulates the rest of the horse’s endocrine systems. As the tumor grows, it puts pressure on the nearby hypothalmus, which is what regulates the body temperature. I reviewed the disease process.

Her Mama told us that she was concerned with her horse’s “mouth & tongue sores, possibly in her gut, swollen back lower legs, weight loss & muscle wasting. I’ve been doing as much as possible for her with herbs, nutrition, antibiotics, & Reiki, but feel I need more help with this. As winter is approaching I’m concerned of course that she will be too cold with all this going on.”  As Candy and I read this, our hearts surely went out to her horse.

During the Reiki session Candy worked on all of the symptoms, relieving pain in the mouth, tongue, gut, legs. I wanted to go straight to the source. I thought if there was any way to slow down the tumor or even get rid of it, that was what I hoped for.  I directed all the energy to her tumor.  This sweet horse welcomed all the healing energy and all the warmth, all the relief so she could eat.

Now, my favorite part of all this! Hearing from the Mama!! She said, “I went outside to visit Breeze shortly after her Reiki session. She seemed more perked up and alert. she had been a little distant & depressed most recently and this was a good sign.She also seemed very calm, and warmer..not much shivering.  She is continuing to eat well. I’m hoping the swelling will go down in her back legs & she becomes stronger.” We were quite excited to hear this and know that the Reiki will keep flowing and flowing!

Then we heard again in another day, “This is a picture I took of Breeze today.    I do notice weight gain in the belly from previous pictures, even since the once I first sent you.

What I noticed about the Reiki is how her attitude has improved. She had been quite distant & depressed most of the time. Right after the Reiki she seemed more loving and connected. Now she perks up when she sees me coming & looks forward to her food, even if it has herbs & medicine in it.
I also notice her gut seems to be less rigid. She had spasms and had colick symptoms the day before the Reiki session. She’s still swollen in the back fetlock joints & there is a clicking noise when she walks. Hopefully this swelling will go down as she gets more exercise too. Thank you again! I’m looking forward to your post!”
