This beautiful parrot received three Reiki sessions this year. We were working with her on giving her mental healings. Now we have the privilege of having her included in our beta testing.  One wonderful thing we come across often is the deep connection owners have with their pets. That’s why I like to say their “Mama’s” or “Daddy’s” because its a family connection, not just an “owner”.  Several months I wrote a post about how our pets take on our diseases, take on our anxieties and worries because they love us. Even my own wonderful Sammy Diva was taking on my anxieties a year ago. When I realized that, it really made me look within myself.  Its one thing to have your own “stuff” to deal with but to have your pet “take it on too” now that gives one to think about what’s going on.

This beautiful parrot was picking at herself. Her connection to her Mama is so strong and as Janet said during the “Talk” part of Reiki Talk, “deep and abiding”. WOW, those are deep words.  She was trying her best to help her Mama with whatever situation she is going through right now.  Our pets are so devoted to us, always unconditonal love they show us.

Then my favorite part, to hear that the pet has to say about their Reiki session! This parrot loved the Reiki! We were so thrilled to hear what she had to say about her sessions. She said it made her feel NIIIIICCEEE (very nice!) and calm. She said it fills her out and makes her so beautiful. Reiki makes her feel brighter and makes her want to sing! How awesome is that?!
