Hi! Starting today till May 14th, we’re going to run a special for reiki for people for $65 since the swine flu has hit CA.  Regular session is $85.00 -$100.

One of my friends’ son got a fever and I sent him reiki and the fever went away immediately. Seems much more prudent to receive reiki before one gets really sick. This is what gave me the idea to run the special.
The National Institutes of Health National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) website states:

“Reiki is a healing practice that originated in Japan. Reiki practitioners place their hands lightly on or just above the person receiving treatment, with the goal of facilitating the person’s own healing response. In the United States, Reiki is part of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM).”

The NCCAM goes on to explain further on their page, Introduction to Reiki: “Practitioners with appropriate training may perform Reiki from a distance, that is, on clients who are not physically present in the office or clinic.”

A meta-analysis of 23 studies done by Evidence-Based Medicine in 2000, found that: “Distant healing, including prayer and therapeutic touch, is often effective in improving patient outcomes.”
