Can all of you believe it? Star made it to ONE! Our house is still standing. A lot less things in it however with that little Boxer monster. She made it to her first year! I still remember when Boxer rescue called and carried her in. OMG, was she cute! Little did we know what a terror she was going to turn into. She is still out of control. I know in the next 3-4 years she’ll be be better. But boy, does this girl really work you!
Star’s greatest attribute is the way she is connected to Kc. She did take my shy boy Boxer and bring him out of his shell. They have a connection that is wonderful to watch. They sit on each other. They drag each other around the house.
They play continuously. At night they climb into the den and wrap their arms around each other and fall asleep. They are never 2 inches away from each other. They cannot stand to be apart. They truly howl and bark when separated. They have a loving and an amazing bond between them.
I am always able to tolerate her antics and misbehaviors because she is a puppy. She is sweet. All her mass destruction really matters when I look into her beautiful brown eyes. Can you tell I’m gone for this Boxer girl? With all of her mischief and jumping over the wall and climbing the fence, we feel so blessed to celebrating her first birthday and look forward to many more!
