Reiki For Healthy Cats -This week has been a great week. Exciting for me starting out with giving reiki to the blind poodle and the alpha kittie in the same home. As I have said before it’s great to give reiki to pets that live in the same household. After all, one gets healing energy, why not the other? SO its awesome when we get to do more than one. Just as I had written about Reiki for All the Fur Babies in the Family in an earlier post.
I got such a great feeling and validation when a new friend and new client said to me that I was a real “healer” because I know both eastern and western medicine. She said what a great balance that is. You know, in all honesty, I had never thought about it. I don’t talk about it much here, I don’t hide it, but I don’t advertise it. I really don’t know why. I guess I never really put the two things together. What two things? Pharmacy and Reiki. But it is listed on the “About” page: I do have my doctorate in pharmacy and many times when we get a sick pet I can ask intelligent questions about their pet health . My pharmacist “hat” comes on naturally. I can’t help that. I’ve been practicing pharmacy for many years now. It also helps when we reiki people with health issues as well. I have to admit It does help to have some medical background.
I know in this economy it’s really hard to have those “extras”. But this week we got to reiki some kitty cats just because. They have no issues to speak of. No illnesses. How loving and wonderful is that for them. Just loving energy to them. Its like getting an awesome massage and feeling wonderful afterwards! We witness many miracles because often we get a sick pet and the reiki heals them. But to have animals that aren’t sick and get reiki.. how happy they are!! Yeah for loving pet owners that can!! Just like my Mochi (picture above) she gets regular reiki too and she’s just fine!

I wouldn’t call it pampering (it’s more like a gift of healing) but yes, even though I’m starting to understand the magic of reiki, it’s something that is much appreciated by any pet that is part of a family. Like you said, it’s that wonderful massage at the end of a busy week that we get because we deserve it. Well, they do deserve a little attention too. Thanks for sharing this!

Dear Karina, Thank you for saying that it is a gift of healing. Well said! I appreciate that. You are right. Its actually better than a massage! Thank you for your comments!

My two kitties were the ones that got the gift of healing! I am so happy I did it for them…they were very loving and vocal when I got home, even the one kitty who is usually not a big “talker”. I’m sure they were telling me thank you! We all had a lovely night’s rest!
Thank you so much for the lovely healing gift you sent to them, my healer friend! I am honored to know you. You inspire me!
