Well, for some of you, reiki is a common word. For others, not so common and for the rest of you, probably have never heard of it ever.

Candy and I went to Las Vegas last weekend for Candy’s birthday. We stayed at the Palazzo.  What a beautiful suite in a very beautiful hotel. We decided to check the spa out. Why wouldn’t we? Of course, we’re girls! So looking at the services they offered we noticed reiki was there! WOW, we thought, how cool.  We wanted to see what they said reiki was. They said it was a energy balance. True enough, that is what reiki is in a small nut shell. The prices were from $150-200. I remembered a few years ago, a very high end spa here in Santa Monica- Burke Williams offered reiki. They still do. Prices range from $135-$200. I wonder what it would be like to get reiki from one of those high end spas.  At any rate, it was good to see that its becoming more of a “word” that people come to know.

As for me, I know that reiki is so healing. I gave reiki to myself this past weekend and I’m pretty sure I would have been deathly ill instead of this nasty cold I have been fighting if I had not given myself reiki.  I could feel the energy running through my tired and run down body knocking out my sore throat and dry cough.

Sammy Diva and Lucy get reiki just about every day. Nothing like a perfectly balanced dog. They are quite happy as you can see!

I have been able to send reiki to some dear friends and family members as well while this terrible flu season is going around.  Seems like a tough year for the flu. I say that only because I HARDLY ever get sick.

I talked to some of my human clients today. Some are coming back for more just to feel more balanced. Perhaps this is how they would feel after getting a reiki session at a spa. One of my other clients told me today she has not worn a splint on her arm keeping her wrist in place since her first reiki session! Now, that’s awesome. I love the miracles of reiki. I am priviledged to witness them every day. Not just with people but even more so with animals.  My more and more becoming favorite story is the kitties we get with herpes and are healed with just about one session!

It seems the mental healings with reiki are becoming more and more important in our reiki sessions as well. Am I being more intuned to the animal or am I just noticing more that we are doing mental healings. (Read more on Mental Healings ) I don’t know but I do know animals have anxieties, fears, and sometimes a bad memory they need to let go of to be “in the now” since that is where animals live mostly. Reiki can free them to be there.

In talking to Candy this weekend, we both said, we’re pretty happy with our prices thus far. We hope you give us a try.
