Mental healings, that’s exactly what they are called. Candy and I were talking today about our last dog that received reiki from us and thought, wow, with all the questions we recently have been getting perhaps it’s time to blog about it. I thought about why I never did and I really think its because I figured people knew. How would people know if I didn’t say anything? I’m glad people have been asking me questions! Mental healings are for animals that are abused, afraid, experience panic for instance. Many “rescues” have issues and this is when mental healings are helpful.
My two dogs get mental healings too. Sometimes things really bother them and they get anxious. Sammy once ate the side of my wall being left alone. She no longer does that. She also was digging in our yard, she no longer does that.
Right now we’re starting work with a rescue dog that experiences panic is afraid to be alone. This is clearly a dog that needs mental healing. Today’s dog that we had had some issues as well. We really didn’t know the issues but during the session and I didn’t know till after that Candy felt the same way.. that we both realized this dog isn’t sick physically but needs healing inwardly.
We also did a mental healing on a horse. The owner told us that she had tried several animal communicators and the horse would not talk to them. This horse was abused. Upon the session and a mental healing, we have given this horse two reiki sessions and he has let us in each time!
Another issue is grief. Mental healing helps with pets that are grieving. The siamese cat that was grieving for her sister and sang the song that sung to her and her sister (see Patients tab) was also given a mental healing.
So questions that I receive, can reiki help my dog with its psychosis? yes. Can reiki help with my dog being so afraid? yes. Can reiki help my pet be less anxious? yes. If the owner doesn’t say, we still can give a mental healing during the session but of course if know ahead of time what the issues are, we can definitely do mental healings.
And yes, they work. I have done them on people. For people, mental healings can help with as my reiki master taught us, free someone from addictions, heal arthritis, bring up traumas that were suppressed for years, aid the elderly in transitioning to the light, altering lives of teenagers, harmonizing relationships, heal physical injuries and much more. On that note, we have started with people as well. We have also gotten very positive feedback as well. We have clients in 4 different states.

Hi Ladies, as I was reading about your mental healings, I remembered how effective your first treatment was on Coco and why I have decided to pursue more for her. It was so soothing and calming that I was too relaxed and had the same type of evening that she had. As you know, she is generally so hyped that the moment we set foot in the door it is non-stop until bedtime and my entire evening is usually spent playing with Coco. However, that evening I was actually able to spend some quiet time for myself. As you probably can tell she pretty much runs things. Reiki really works and if there is anyone who thinks their pet or themselves might benefit from it then you should by all means try it. I am scheduling myself as well.

Thank you Arlene. Candy and I were just talking about you today. In no time, we’ll have you and Coco back in balance. You are on the docket for tomorrow night!

Hi Gals,
Did you ever think on getting on Oprah’s show to promote this? I am sure you would have a good clientel. There are so many people who have trouble sleeping at night and from all I am reading . Reiki should do the trick, along with all the other problems these days. Keep up the good work!

You did a mental healing on my cat, Bo, and now he’s doing great. He was so twitchy before. He seems much more confident and happy and content.
Thanks!

This is the first time I’ve heard of such a thing for animals and I must say that I’m intrigued. I know of several pets that are owned by friends that could possibly benefit from something like this.
