Its been a busy few weeks. We have even had pets to reiki on the weekend. Very exciting and a lot of fun. I think the best part of what we do is that we see results. Always good results and by that I mean for the highest good.Helping a cat this month go into the light was moving and a very touching experience for both us and the pet owner. There is a light, sometimes the light gets brighter. Sometimes the pet is ready to go, other times it is not. Last week there was a cat who was ready go and was able to say good bye to the person who loved him so much. That is always sad but knowing that they are in a place where they don’t hurt and suffer anymore is wonderful thing. Reassuring the owner is even more wonderful.
This week teaming up with Bridget with Pets Are Talking has been great fun! Funny, I thought that the owners would have Bridget talk with the pet and then we’d give the pet a reiki session. But not always! One of our clients in Luxembourg actually wanted reiki for the sicker cat and wanted to understand the other cat more by having Bridget talk to the cat! I had never even thought of that option!
Then there’s our regular cat with cancer that gets regular reiki. She hears that she is getting reiki and runs to the window. I have lost count now of how many sessions she has had. She loves it and is still with us. I’m glad the owner got in on the Valentine’s Special so that we could hear that the kitty was indeed still wanting to be here which is the sense we got as well. It was just great to get another confirmation and for the owner to “hear” it as well.
Another interesting situation was that last weekend we got a call for a lost cat in Huntington Beach. Believe it or not we have used reiki to find lost items, why not a cat. The owner was frantic as when she got home the cat was not on the balcony. Somehow she had fell. I gave the cat reiki and asked for her to come home. She was stuck somewhere. Three reiki sessions later, the cat was unstuck and on its way home. We had Bridget telling us that the cat, Icky was still alive and stuck. Finally Icky got unstuck.
We have also had an emergency, a papillon dog, only 4lbs. We have been happy that we have been able to reiki the dog upon every request. He is fighting to get out of the hospital.
Its mid week and we have lined up many more pets to reiki and have Bridget talk to. Including a turtle named Peep. It’s been a great week!

It’s so great to see how two amazing human beings with such a special gift can get together and carry out so many positive things for animals in need.
It’s been great getting to know you two, first through twitter and then through your blogs.
All the best for both and hope this is just the beginning of a great team in 2009!
