I cannot believe that I live in Southern Cal these last several weeks! Coming from cold weather, power outages, trees falling into the living room when there was too much snow on the roof, constant rain, drizzling rain.. no sun.. I thought that CA would be my oasis. Well, I’ve been here way too many years to count but still am a transplant. Walking the dog in a hat, scarf and gloves is not my idea of a fun time.  But better than in the pouring rain over the last few weeks. Lucy being so low to the ground would be drenched from the bottom up.. Sammy just would look up at me and say, you want me to what now?!

Well, today its a “cold” (relative to where you live) but sunny day.  Every night this week we have had the fireplace on and Lucy would get as close as she could, stay as long as she could while every little hair got warm on her body.  Then she’d snuggle with Sammy on the couch and all of us would be warm.

We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.  My BFF and colleague is in a tropical place warming up.. and re-charging. (However, please note we will reiki in any emergencies, as reiki can go anywhere, so no, we are not closed for the holidays!) But it has been quiet since Christmas.  Our hearts go to the lady that lost her kitty before Christmas but reiki assisted her furbaby peacefully.  We are thankful for that.
