Tis the day before xmas and all through the house
lots of cookies and baking and treats can be seen
while Kc and Star are playing outside.
Inside they run and beg for a treat and
back outside they run to play some more.
I think my dogs are enjoying the holidays as much as I am. The animals aren’t looking for a lot of silly presents. I think they are enjoying all the extra people with hugs and pets they seem to get at this time of year. Right now, Star is bathing in my Goddaughter Jennifer’s love and affection. Even shy Kc seems to be coming out of his shell a little bit more. “Pet me, Pet me ! Hug me! Kiss me ! Let me have a taste of whatever you are eating”, they yell. The smells around the house are a delight and are sending them in a tizzy. I think the best part was watching them break into the gifts that weren’t for them. It started with the Christmas crackers/poppers. I made the mistake of putting them out for decorations. Oh, the dogs thought these were great ! I think they each grabbed an end, pulled, popped, there went a big noise, and toys came out. “This is fun, lets do it again.” Then they found some of Rayne’s presents. They wanted to peek. “What could be in this cute bag? ” they thought. After that, I had to get careful. I had to try and lock things up. But remember, there is two of them against one of me. They are dogs, which conveys that they are obviously smarter than me. Well, enough of all my family joy, I want to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a happy healthy new year to all of you and your wonderful pets. Be kind to each other, and be extra good to your animals. They depend on you. Blessings from your reiki girls.
