Perhaps this is question you might be pondering. If so, I decided to write a bit about my experience with distant healing. It’s awesome. It’s absolutely fantastic and exciting how well it works. I have received reiki through distance and I personally like it better than hands on any day.  With animals, its THE way to go. Animals absorb reiki much faster. They also know how much they need. They don’t have the “baggage” that we humans have so the energy just flows.

  Many and often times animals are not feeling well, sick, depressed, anxious whatever the ailment may be, the last person they want to see is the Vet (haha, though that can’t be helped, my dog gets dragged into the Vet like the rest of them!) or some stranger. Though animals take quite a liking to me, I find that without disturbing what they are doing, be it sleeping, walking around their “own space” or eating.. the reiki flows where they need it.  Just last night, we had a cat client who was not eating for many days. Cat went to the Vet, got blood drawn, poked and proded.  Even got an Ultrasound done.  The Vet could not find what was wrong.  It was time for a biopsy. This is when the owner came to us.  With an older cat, we certainly didn’t want to bother it by putting our hands on it. The owner signed up for 3 distant reiki sessions and by the first session, the cat was eating its dinner! I am always astounded by the power of reiki. Still even now. I probably forever will be.

When I go on vacation and am away from my furbabies, I send them reiki just to assure them not to be anxious. Mama is still around!!
