Here it is, that time of year again! Our two furbabies get ready to celebrate that big day, their birthdays!!!

Kc turns 2 today! Lucy turns 4 on Wednesday! Party party party. Oh do these furbabies love to party. It started this morning with Auntie M dropping off a bag of stuffed toys for Kc. Kc had just come back from the farm because Mom and Dad were away for Thanksgiving. He walked in the door and could barely say hello when he saw his toys. How is it that a dog always knows when a new toy is “new” and its for them?! Kc knew immediately that they were his, not Star’s but his! The toys were up, the fur was flying. Puppy bliss as they played and ran and jumped trying to tear the toys up. The first hour they tore one up. No stuffed toy was going to get the better of Kc, not with Star’s help anyways. That little green stuffed dog, Kc grabbed one end, Star, the other. Next thing we knew, white fuzz all over the living room. Oh were they happy. Mom and Dad did the clean up. Birthdays are such fun for my babies! 

Lucy and Sammy are much saner, but then they’re not boxers. Lucy was given her toys. She was very happy to receive them from her Auntie Candy. Even her sister Sammy got one. They trotted nicely to the living room and played nicely like a well behaved Corgi and Lab would. What a difference in breeds. Lucy does love her new toys. She knows they are hers. She doesn’t mind sharing with Sammy because its not food. Toys she is willing to share and play with her big sister.  I’m sure Auntie Candy will be down with birthday cake, which is any kind of a treat that shows up for Lucy.
