As I listen to the news I realize how really sad and difficult life is right now for many of us. I become depressed with these hard times we are ALL having. Then I look up from my despair and my two dogs are doing something so silly I can’t help but laugh. They never fail to get a big smile from me. I know they can’t fix the economy or stop the war or help the heads of these big companies do the right thing, but they can make me laugh every single day.

I love when my two boxers, Kc and Star walk outside on the patio and sit in two of the patio chairs. I fall down laughing when I see them out there. Sometimes we join them and its like they are having tea and a conversation. Other times they like to soak up teh sun in these two chairs. Star sits like a person with her two legs on the ground. The are the best. We all have such pleasure seeing two different animals engaged together. Maybe seeing them close and loving gives us the hope that we need to believe in a  better tomorrow.
