So we’re taking a one day holiday from fur babies. Even Kenya has declared Thursday a public holiday to celebrate the election of Barack Obama to the US presidency .

I had to write about this as I was so touched and moved to tears. After the election I received an email from some friends that Candy and I met in Vietnam. They are from Paris. In the middle of my day, this email came through. I was amazed that our election was so important to other people in the world.  To not just see it on the news but to actually receive a personal email completely moved me. I sent it to everyone I knew so they too could see what an incredible day in history November 4th was.
