How funny life is. There was so much focus on dogs the last few weeks with Woof and Wine coming up. Reiki preparation, mental and spiritual preparation, the energy really was on dogs. And here’s the funny part, the clients coming up for reiki have been cats! I never would have guessed that! I find it amusing. Nonetheless inspiring as well.  One of the cats, a beautiful young bengal, had gotten several reiki sessions. He was getting a colonoscopy. While very scary for its owner the cat responded well to the reiki. No blockage. The reiki flowed.  In my experience, cats seem to just love reiki!.  As you can see, my first love for pets was my cat. ( The Story of Mochi ) In fact, I have had many cats. Calicos, orange tabby cats, one that came in my house as a kid to get food though it lived in the neighborhood. Also had calico kittens that lived with us for awhile until they disappeared sadly. But there has always been a cat around. The whole dog thing is new for me, as my labrador Sammy licks my foot while I type.  SO, been sending reiki to the cats, my feline friends. Our reiki master Timothy Stuetz has a cat. He called him an energy junkie. Whenever we did reiki, the cat came in the room. Even laid down on the massage table. My cat, Mochi likes reiki and absorbs it well.  Sometimes in the night, she comes up close to me, wakes me up for just a little bit of reiki.  Here’s to the kitty cats!!
